ESG Analytics was born out of frustration with the current state of ESG. Conflicting ratings, terrible user interfaces and a general lack of data was not making the task of bringing ESG to the world any easier.
When we looked at the current range of ESG funds, we saw a lack of creativity, with extreme reliance on corporate disclosed data, and a reliance on external ESG ratings, which really only cover a small portion of the largest companies in the world.
We made a decision to leverage our data skills to understand the world around us through an ESG lens, and to bring all of this data into a platform that would be useful, and engaging to use. The result is ESG Analytics.
From there we expanded our offering, adding tools requested by ESG Analysts and consultants, such as tracking proxy votes, carbon emissions and many other elements that are core to the way we analyze companies and countries.
